VELOSIT SL 507 – the new heavy duty floor

A completely deteriorated floor in a metal processing facility near Steinheim (Germany) was planned to receive a permanent restoration. Due to the abrasive stress caused by metal boxes, a highly wear-resistant floor covering must be installed.

On some 6,500 sq.ft. (600 sqm), the blasted floor was prepared with an epoxy primer with a full broadcast and then coated with 3/8 inch (8 – 10 mm) VELOSIT SL 507.

VELOSIT SL 507 can be put back in service quickly and reaches the abrasion class A3 acc. EN 13813. The warehouse was re-opened next day.
